| About
Us: Our Mission |
|
LOGOS
Campus Ministry is
an initiative of the Christian Reformed Church
of North America (CRCNA)
at York
University in Toronto, since 2001. The
CRCNA traces its roots from the Protestant
Reformation of the 16th century,
hence, the word, “Reformed”.
LOGOS
Campus Ministry welcomes and ministers to all
Christians who follow the risen Lord Jesus
Christ and adhere to the Christian faith
(historically summarized, for instance, in the
Apostles’
Creed). Hence, it is a non-sectarian,
ecumenical, Reformed Christian ministry.
Our
mission is to provide Christian resources and
services to the York University community in
order to:
- demonstrate
the relevance and importance of the
Christian faith and worldview to the
academic enterprise;
- promote
God’s grace, love, peace and harmony, in
the university community;
- equip
Christians for leadership and service in
the academic community, and eventually in
the world.
