Membership:
a. This Committee shall consist of five members. Members should be acquainted with the Churches and ministries of Classis. They should also reflect the diversity of Classis, geographical and otherwise.
b. The Ministry Coordinator shall serve as an ex-officio member of the Committee.
Mandate:
a. Keep an up to date record of all those appointed to serve as members Classical Committees, delegates to boards and agencies, and other functionaries of Classis.
b. Keep record of all appointees who finish their terms, retire, resign or who for any other reason no longer serve their appointment.
c. Alert Church councils of all present and anticipated vacancies in time for councils to consider and submit nominees for inclusion in the January Classis Meeting agenda.
d. recruit nominees when responses from councils prove inadequate.
e. submit a complete integrated ballot of nominations for all up coming vacancies to Classis. Such nominations shall include information about each nominee's suitability and availability for the position.
