pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep
on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18)

prayer guide was assembled with prayer requests and
praises given by the delegates at the
May 15, 2008 Classis meeting.
Use this prayer guide creatively.
Use it in your church prayer groups, small
groups, as a family at the dinner table or in your
own quiet times.

Pray for Chris Pullenayegem as he continues to
work with the church clusters to build missional
churches and new church plants. |
Pray with the Classis Candidacy Committee as
they support two students studying to become Ministers
of the Word. Pray that more people will hear God’s
call to become pastors. |
Pray with First CRC of Orillia as they seek to
develop a coherent vision for outreach and empower the
congregation to reach out to their community. |
Pray with Georgetown CRC as they lose their
Education Director who is taking a call to a full-time
pastoral position. |
Praise God with All Nations Christian Fellowship
CRC for their commitment to prayer and how that
has been such a blessing for them. |

struggling to establish a new vision and mission as
well as seek a new pastor for their congregation. |
Praise God with Meadowvale CRC for their GEMS
and Cadets ministries as they are able to reach
children in their community and share with them the
love of God. |
Pray for the Classis Ministry Committee as they
meet this evening to set the agenda for the Oct. 2
Classis meeting and make some decisions about how to
work within the new structure of Classis. |
Pray with the Home Missions Committee as they
seek to support the work of the local churches in
reaching people who do not know Christ. |
Pray for the
Toronto Hospital Chaplain,
Nell DeBoer. Pray that God will continue to lead Nell
to the people and places where God’s presence is
needed. |

seven young people who made profession of their faith
in Jesus Christ and who will share life with Covenant
