pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep
on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18)

prayer guide was assembled from prayer requests and
praises given by the delegates at the
September 20, 2007 Classis meeting.
Use this prayer guide creatively.
Use it in your church prayer groups, small
groups, as a family at the dinner table or in your
own quiet times.

groups. |

Classis as they look for ways to assist churches with
revitalization of our congregations and church
planting. |
Pray to God with ClearView CRC as they desire
to be inspired with a passion for prayer. May the
Spirit blaze brightly in their hearts. |
Pray with First Barrie CRC as they pray to
minister to baptized adults who no longer come to
church. May the Lord use them to reach the hearts of
the wayward children. |
Pray with the Classis Toronto as a new clerk is
needed in 2008. May the Lord lead us to someone with
the right skills and a desire to serve. |
Praise God with Springdale CRC as he is using
the Mexican ministry to continue drawing his children
back to faith in Christ. |

enfolding new and existing members |
Pray for those churches who did not submit a specific
prayer request for this month’s prayer calendar: First
Toronto, Willowdale, Covenant, First Orillia and
Friendship. |
Pray with Meadowvale CRC as they are challenged
to help the new relationships that are being built in
their community. May the Lord bless their gifts of
money and generosity. |
Pray with the
Toronto Hospital Chaplain:
Nell DeBoer. Pray that God will continue to lead Nell
to the people and places where God’s presence is
needed. Praise God for the lives that are touched
through this ministry. |
Pray for all the congregations as they seek to meet
their budgets for the 2007 year. May the Lord bless
our giving and help us meet our Classical obligations. |
Pray with the Race Relations Committee of
Classis Toronto as they seek to lead our classis in
becoming more multi-cultural. |
Pray for all the university students as they finish
their exams and return for the holidays. May they find
a warm welcome and a connection with their community. |

Wichert, as they continue with their programs at the

Thank God today as we celebrate the birth of Jesus
Christ, who came to earth to redeem us

Boxing Day
Pray for those who do not have enough to eat. Pray
that we may rise to the challenge of taking care of
our neighbours, whether near or far.

Pray with Georgetown CRC for the growth of
their Just the Kids and Me program. May it be a
place of support and growth for families experiencing
divorce. |
Pray with the elders of Cochrane CRC as they
lead the church most Sunday mornings. Pray that God
will give them wisdom in their leadership and that the
congregation and community will be blessed. |
Pray with Maranatha CRC as they seek to include
community kids in their weekly Sunday school program.
