Membership: The Committee consists of 6 regular members three of which should be youth pastors and/or directors, paid or unpaid.  All individuals should have a heart for youth in the Church and in the community.

Mandate:

a. Advocate for youth ministry among the Churches of Classis.  This includes leadership training for Church leaders, youth pastors, youth volunteers and students.

b. Encourage Interchurch relations within Classis by providing resources and supporting events that bring youth together to worship, learn and fellowship.

c. Create awareness of service opportunities that combine individual Church efforts to make a greater impact on the community.

d. Locate and offer resources and support to other Churches involved in youth ministry.

e. The Committee meets no less than 3 times per year.
