The leaders of churches in general, and smaller churches in poorer communities in particular, face significant pressures to make difficult choices in a post-Christian and post-COVID world. Often it feels these choices around sustaining volunteers, pastor's salary and buildings seem to be no choice beyond just keeping the church going and not necessarily growing.
